AJ is a physiotherapist with special interest in orthopedic, sports injuries and neurological rehab. His treatment philosophy is to treat the patient and not pain.
He got his degree in Physiotherapy in 2009 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and worked in Mumbai, India for 3 years before moving to Canada in 2012. Having worked in different clinical and sports rehab settings he brings with him clinical, administrative, managerial and entrepreneurial experiences in running a successful rehab clinic. He has completed additional courses in spinal manipulation, myofascial release techniques, several manual therapy techniques, dry needling, shockwave therapy, kinesio-taping, LASER to name a few.
His initial examination consists of history taking and movement based assessment based on which he decides the line of treatment. He firmly believes in empowering his patients with the knowledge of what's causing their pain and how they can fix it- this is something that he is extremely proud of.
In his short career as a physiotherapist he has donned a variety of hats. From a physiotherapist to being a clinic manager and now owning rehab clinics.
He is always a phone call or an email away. Feel free to get in touch with him with any queries that you may have at physiotipsaj@gmail.com.
