Alana started Guelph Performance in 2015, working as a solo-practitioner within a gym facility. She chose to open her own practice so she could build a clinic that matched her unique philosophy of patient care. Over the last 11 years, she has grown Guelph Performance to be an ecosystem where she can foster a client-centred, goal-oriented ecosystem, using not only her own skills but those of her incredible staff to help people *perform better* whether that be in sports, play, work, or just life in general!
Alana attended the University of Western Ontario, where she was a member of the Varsity Rowing team, and earned her Bachelor of Medical science. During her time there, she sustained an injury and was treated by the Athletic Therapists there, sparking her to continue her education at Sheridan, earning a BAHSc in Athletic Therapy, followed by a Diploma in Massage Therapy at OCHT.

This one hour appointment will include a detailed history, orthopedic assessment of your condition, treatment planning, and a short treatment. Please book this type of appointment if it is your first Massage Therapy appointment at Guelph Performance, if you are coming for a new reason, or if you have not been to the clinic for more than 3 months.
