Plagiocephaly is described as the flattening of one side of the back head, while Brachycephaly is the flattening of the middle of the back of the head. Torticollis is characterized by tension in the neck predisposing infants to look towards the same direction.

This assessment is to evaluate and create a personalized treatment plan for urinary and bowel issues, pelvic organ prolapse, perimenopause/menopause symptoms, pelvic pain or anything relating to the function of a woman’s pelvis.

If you are currently recovering from a vaginal or Caesarian delivery choose the following session to evaluate and create a personalized treatment plan for urinary and bowel issues, pelvic organ prolapse, scar management (perineum/caesarian), painful intercourse, low back/pelvic pain, diastasis rectus abdominis and return to exercise. Often, but not always, an internal exam will be a component of the assessment. The option and benefits of an internal exam will be discussed after you share your birth story.

Once you have had a postpartum assessment, choose this follow up option to improve urinary and bowel issues, pelvic organ prolapse, scar management (perineum/caesarian), painful intercourse, low back/pelvic pain, diastasis rectus abdominis and return to exercise. Once you have been assessed, choose this follow up option to learn positions that facilitate your baby’s movement through your pelvis during labour and delivery, pushing strategies, as well as comfort measures to help manage pain.

Once you have been assessed, choose this follow up option to prepare your perineum for birth including breath work, pelvic floor muscle relaxation and if you choose perineal stretching. You will also learn how to care for your perineum postpartum including bowel and bladder care, as well as education regarding return to daily activities, exercise and intercourse.

This assessment option is for if you are currently pregnant and experiencing back pain, pelvic girdle pain (sacroiliac joints, pubic symphysis, tailbone) and/or leg pain. It is also for expectant mothers seeking support as they exercise through pregnancy, as well as who want to physically prepare for labour, delivery and postpartum.
