Alex is a caring and enthusiastic fitness coach who believes that achieving a healthy lifestyle is about finding balance. She received her honours degree in Kinesiology & Physical Education from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2018, and has since become an ISSA certified personal trainer. She has also completed additional training in prenatal and postnatal fitness. Her educational background has provided a well rounded perspective on health and fitness. This allows her to help individuals understand the physical and psychological barriers related to achieving their health and fitness goals. She believes that exercise should not be prescribed under a “one size fits all” approach, and prides herself in the ability to find what works for each individual under her care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her cat, trying new places to eat, and exercising in all ways!

Pelvic physiotherapy is a manual therapy technique designed to assess and rehabilitate the pelvic floor. Your pelvic floor consists of a group of muscles located between the tailbone and pubic bone and can be the source of many different pelvic-related dysfunctions. These dysfunctions can include pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, and pelvic pain. Your therapist will assess the pelvic floor by performing an internal and/or external examination of the area and provide appropriate massage techniques, exercises, and strengthening exercises depending on your condition. Please note that internal assessments are not mandatory and that you can revoke consent for an internal assessment at any point throughout the session.
