From an early age, Alex Quinn’s intrigue of the human body was overwhelming. Knowing she had to satiate this yearning to understand, she studied the mind and brain first, attaining a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. During this time, she was fortunate to play 5 years of CIS volleyball and vied for 2 Canadian National Championships.
Alex’s next endeavor led her to Massage Therapy where she spent 9 years practicing various soft tissue therapies on many physical manifestations from postural misalignments to injury. Her latest pursuit of knowledge brought her to Osteopathic Therapy, a discipline founded on treating holistically, and identifying and removing blockages to healthy body flow. Even before starting Massage Therapy school, Alex knew she wanted to study Osteopathic Therapy. She graduated from the program at the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada and is currently pursuing further education in Osteopathic studies and will be providing these services in the future.
She continues to be amazed by the healing potential of the human body. Her drive and excitement comes from helping people rediscover the occasional elusive sensations of health and wellness we all possess.
It is with much gratitude and determination that Alex takes all she has learned, all she has experienced, and shares it through practice and teaching to help anyone who walks through her door.
