Alex Whamond is the Founder and Owner of Rejuvenate. He is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Halifax in 2019 and then started establishing his own practice later that year.
While working through a shoulder injury Alex was introduced to the world of Massage Therapy and felt it was the only modality that effectively reduced his pain. His background in volleyball and fitness has always made him passionate to learn about the human body and how complex it truly is.
Alex’s approach to treatments tends to be more of a Deep Tissue “Sports Massage”. He likes to combine Swedish & Chinese techniques, Cupping, Muscle Stripping and Trigger Point Therapy into his routine. He also has expertise in Facial Release, Side-lying techniques and Pre/Postnatal Massage.
