Alexa graduated from the University of BC Okanagan obtaining her Bachelor’s in Human Kinetics with a specialization in Clinical Exercise Physiology and minor in Psychology. She is currently a member of the BC Association for Kinesiologists and Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology as a Certified Personal Trainer. With continuing education she has added cupping therapy to her available treatments and hopes to add many more modalities in the future.
Alexa was born and raised in Kamloops where she grew up playing basketball, soccer and volleyball. In her highschool years she started coaching for different basketball and soccer camps/teams. Throughout those years and many injuries she formed a passion for movement and the health/fitness industry. At UBCO she got the opportunity to be the Senior Student Trainer for the Women’s Volleyball Team in her final year. Now she still enjoys skiing, soccer, fitness training and any other sports she is able to participate in.
Alexa strives to bring everyone to their greatest capabilities whether it be for performance or activities of daily living. She likes to achieve this by treating the cause of the problems and not just the pain it creates. Incorporating both active and passive techniques. She specializes in different styles of treatment including performance enhancement, injury rehabilitation, and active living.
