Alexa Hookey (BHSc, DCh) is a licensed Chiropodist registered with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario. Alexa began her studies at McMaster University where she earned a Bachelor of Health Sciences Honors degree. She then furthered her education and attended the Michener Institute of Education at UHN in Toronto, earning an advanced Diploma of Chiropody.
Alexa has experience in managing a wide range of foot and lower extremity conditions, including routine nail and callus care, diabetic foot care, skin and nail infections, warts, custom foot orthoses, foot pain and injuries, wound care, and minor surgical procedures.
Passionate about preventative care and patient education, Alexa is committed to providing a comprehensive treatment approach to help her patients maintain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life through high quality foot care.
When not practicing, Alexa enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the gym, and watching sports.

Chiropody services at Wilson Health Services encompasses comprehensive foot care, including treatment for thick toenails, fungal nails, heel pain, ingrown toenails, corns, calluses, warts, and diabetic foot care. We provide general foot and nail care, orthotics, gait and biomechanical assessments. The chiropodist also offers more specialized treatments such as corticosteroid injections, tendon releases, wart excision, and ingrown toenail surgery.
