Alex utilizes myofascial, muscle energy, and deep tissue techniques to alleviate pain and improve muscle function. Using a holistic perspective, he works with patients to facilitate a connection with their bodies. Alex’s practice is based on a compassionate partnership between therapist and patient.
Alex trained at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, graduating in 2017. He has worked in the field since, developing his practice with various cases, including scoliosis, moderate to severe physical traumas (including scar tissue), chronic pain and nervous system damage/pathology, and sports, work, and motor vehicle-related injuries.
Having completed the Biodynamic Fascial Integration Series, Alex's practice now includes a variety of fascial techniques such as advanced visceral manipulation, osseous loading, and cranio-sacral therapy.
In his free time, Alex likes to learn new physical training skills/exercises, and hike with his partner and their dog, Moose. Otherwise Alex likes to read, write, and watch film.
