Alexandra is a Physiotherapist who earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University
of British Columbia after completing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at McMaster
University. She has also completed postgraduate training through the Canadian Physiotherapy
Association Orthopaedic Division, including Level 1 of the Advanced Integrated
Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program.
Alex has experience in both public and private healthcare settings, treating people of all ages and
abilities. From helping children return to sport to supporting older adults to stay strong,
confident, and independent, Alex enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life. Her
treatment approach combines hands-on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and evidence-
informed education to create personalized rehabilitation plans that empower clients to reach their
goals.
Before becoming a Physiotherapist, Alex worked as a Registered Kinesiologist at McMaster
University, where she supervised programs at the Physical Activity Centre of Excellence and
gained experience with older adults and individuals managing cancer, cardiac conditions, spinal
cord injuries, and multiple sclerosis.
Originally from Ontario, Alex spent time working in the Canadian Rockies before moving to
Vancouver, where she developed a love for the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, climbing, running,
and weightlifting, and brings her passion for movement into her physiotherapy practice to help
clients return to the activities they love.
Alex works Tuesday mornings, Thursday afternoons, and Saturday mornings. Please email,

This appointment is for those who have a change of brain function from a injury. Typically those who feel concussed have these symptoms: lightheadedness, bouncing hyper activity in the brain, memory and sleep changes. The physiotherapist will asses your functions and help alleviate the problem by providing light exercises, manual therapy and guidance for back to normal activities. Please call Service Canada to confirm eligibility before booking. If covered, you will pay the user fee. Please note that MSP covers only 10 visits a year in total, to be divided among physiotherapy, massage, chiropractic, naturopathic and podiatry appointments

There is a user fee of $50 per visit.
Reconstructed Total knee replacement (TKR), Total hip replacement (THR), Knee Manipulation or Bilateral joint treatments done at UBC Hospital. Please have the referral and discharge summary sheet available for reception to scan. This would be the voucher for the 3 or 12 appointments listed from the surgeon. This appointment is for clients with vestibular conditions like: Vertigo, Cervical region tightness, Imbalance and Nausea. Typically those who are diagnosed by a doctor. The Physiotherapist will use thus 45 minute session to analyze the main cause and help condition and provide you with a plan. A subsequent visit is always recommended, especially with this issue.
