Alexis has always been someone deeply immersed in the world of sports and athletics. From an elite athlete, to a coach and from personal training to a competitive bodybuilder, Alexis has one of the most interesting backgrounds in sport that you'll find in a health professional.
Having a natural passion for activity, Alexis graduated with a degree in Health Promotion from Laurentian University. Shortly thereafter, and with a desire to help others reach their physical goals, Alexis continued her education by completing her certification as a Registered Massage Therapist.
From her own experiences with various injuries and based on her experiences helping other reach their physical goals, Alexis feels that there are several key factors for successful rehabilitation. First, it's important to work in partnership with a patient in order to understand who they are as athletes. It's equally important to know what someone understands about their injury. After that, working to draw out the root source of an injury, discussing a feasible plan tailored to the athlete's goals and timeline are all necessary steps to successfully change a setback into a comeback!

Comprehensive Assessment AND Treatment completed. The appointment is designed to understand your injury and concerns and ensure appropriate massage techniques are used to improve your condition. ,Please choose this appointment if you are: 1. A first time patient (and/or) 2. Have a new injury or area of concern (and/or) 3. If your last visit was more than 12 months ago. Please note this appointment is approximately 60 minutes in duration.
30-minute session where parents or caregivers work directly with their babies to learn and practice various infant massage techniques. Allowing enough time for learning, conversation and practice. Although there are professionally trained and certified infant massage therapists, the obvious first choice to massage the baby is the mother, father, grandparent, or guardian.
