Alisha is a Registered Massage Therapist with a unique manual approach. She believes in an individualized approach to treatment, understanding how the body functions as a whole to determine the underlying reasons for pain and dysfunction. Not just treating the symptoms themselves.
Alisha has focused her training and clinical practice around _Myofascial Release_and _Visceral Manipulation_. These techniques are effective in treating a wide range of acute and chronic symptoms, abdominal and pelvic pain, digestive complaints, pre and post natal complaints, TMJD(jaw pain) and the effects of post surgical scarring on the body. Through assessment, manual therapy and patient education, Alisha works with you to facilitate your body's innate ability to heal, helping you achieve your body's optimal potential.
*Due to the nature of these techniques, no oil or lotion is used during treatment and it is recommended that you come dressed in loose clothing, such as shorts and a t-shirt or tank top.
