Alison convocated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in both Physiotherapy and Physiology, both with Great Distinction. Alison always had a keen interest in manual therapy. She became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists in 2007. She became an owner of Stapleford Health and Rehab in 2008. Over the past 16 years, she has been a mentor to many physiotherapists, in both formal and informal settings. She enjoys sharing her passion of the art and science of physiotherapy. In addition to manual therapy and biomechanics, Alison's interests include gait analysis, running injuries and complex injuries that present as a puzzle.
When not at work, Alison enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and friends and being outdoors (in the summer!)

Initial assessment via telehealth
This appointment is for any child age 0-18 that is experiencing bowel or bladder dysfunction. Issues may include, but are not limited to: urine leakage, constipation, bedwetting, stool leakage, pelvic pain, menstrual pain, etc.

This appointment is appropriate for adult female or male clients with pelvic health complaints including incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction, diastasis recti, and pre & postnatal care.
**Effective January 1, 2024**. This appointment can only be booked after your initial assessment OR if you are a returning client post partum.

**Effective January 1, 2024**. This appointment is appropriate for anyone booking their first visit for evaluation of a musculosketel complaint. This can include, but is not limited to, shoulder pain, back pain, knee pain/instability, Post-surgical rehab, TMJ Dysfunction, etc.

Initial Assessment for individuals experiencing prolonged symptoms (>12 weeks) as a result of COVID-19 infection. Requires a doctors referral. Call to book, not available online.
