Allison studied Human Kinetics in Kelowna at UBCO before going on to complete her Masters of Physical Therapy in Vancouver at UBC. Prior to her Masters she worked as a personal trainer and Kinesiologist. This has provided her experience working with a variety of populations ranging in both age and ability.
She has completed her Level 1 certification in the Orthopaedic Divisions’ Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Allison plans to pursue continuing education opportunities to provide effective, evidence-based treatment to her clients. By combining an exercise-based approach, manual therapy techniques, and education, Allison strives to work alongside individuals to overcome barriers and return to function.
Growing up Allison played multiple sports across the North Shore including soccer and basketball. After experiencing a variety of injuries that landed her appointments with many different physiotherapists, she grew an interest in the process of recovery and rehabilitation. During her free time, Allison has a great passion for the outdoors. You can find her hiking, camping, snowshoeing, or skiing across the North Shore mountains.
