For this style of massage, no lotions (occasionally for neck treatments) are used and you are required to wear athletic clothing. Kinetic massage started for joint pain relief, and joint inflammation while increasing joint flexibility. The idea behind kinetic massage is that the body heals best when it’s involved in the process. Because you are helping the muscles release tension and knots by using their own physiology, it will often feel gentler than a regular massage. Perfect for treating muscle dysfunction, neurovascular compression, and joint restrictions. Also helps with pain relief, improved body mechanics, normalize range of motion and joint function, strengthen muscles and other connective tissues, enhanced blood circulation, postural correction, treatment and management of injury. *You will be doing lots of moving during treatments please be sure you are able to flip over on the table unassisted

Lymphatic drainage involves gently manipulating the body, this encourages fluid (lymph) from the tissues to circulate into the lymphatic system and then deposit back into the circulatory system. This in turn aids to decrease swelling and boosts the immune system, along with many other benefits.

At the start of your treatment, your therapist will ask to lay on your back. With your permission, your therapist will then feel your Ki energy through the abdomen to determine a starting position and what areas should be focused on during the rest of your treatment. You will then lay on your stomach and the therapist will begin applying pressure to meridian points starting at your feet, working in a clockwise motion around your body. You will also be placed in certain stretches that promote more healing. You will then be placed on your side as your therapist focuses on other meridian points and will repeat these steps on your other side. The treatment will finish with one last look at your Ki energy through your abdomen and a relaxing neck massage. Your therapist will be in constant communication with you throughout the treatment to make sure everything is feeling comfortable.
