Alysha has a bachelors degree in East Asian religion, and her passion lies within the realm of east asian philosophy, which is what brought her to Chinese medicine. She believes that Taoist and Buddhist concepts, such as mind-body connection and conscious awareness, are what the western world needs.

Alysha takes a holistic approach, assessing the body as a whole, looking into what is causing the symptoms, rather than just treating the symptoms that are visible. Pain management and injuries (both acute and chronic) hormonal imbalance, immunity, digestive complaints, emotional and mental imbalance, and nervous system regulation are just a few of her focuses.

For existing patients, appointment will include acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping and/or tuina. Please note, we incorporate the initial intake into the first appointment so it may be shortened up to 15 minutes.

A complimentary meet and greet with a Bright acupuncturist. This appointment allows you to ask questions and understand the practice style and services offered before your initial appointment. We want a great fit between you and your practitioner to lead to a positive therapeutic relationship and patient experience.
Appointment includes treatment of acne, fine lines, wrinkles and other cosmetic applications to brighten your skin. The use of face and body acupuncture needles as well as complimentary services, such as guasha and facial cupping, will be offered.
For new or existing patients seeking ear seeding from our Bright acupuncturist. Please note, a brief history will be taken prior to the application of ear seeds. No acupuncture will be provided during this appointment.
A 75-minute non-invasive TCM treatment using facial acupuncture to target fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration, and redness. Boosts collagen, improves circulation, and supports brighter, firmer skin. Includes 30 minutes of needle retention plus facial cupping, gua sha, and massage.
Follow-up appointment after an initial consult has been performed. This visit can include acupuncture and/or cupping to help address your health concerns.
For new patients seeking acupuncture and/or cupping with one of our Bright naturopathic doctors, or for returning patients who have not been seen for an extended period. Your first visit includes a comprehensive review of your health history, current concerns, and health and wellness goals. Based on your assessment, your practitioner will develop a personalized treatment plan, and your visit may also include acupuncture and/or cupping.
