Alyssa began her practice in November 2014. She has a passion for healing, integrating lymphatic drainage, scar tissue management and cranial-sacral therapy with more standard massage techniques. In 2022 she began to focus her practice on post mastectomy work, learning different modalities that could be helpful for this oncology and post-surgical population.
**As of March 2025 she is CDT (Complete Decongestive Therapy) trained and certified to treat Lymphedema.**

This is a follow up treatment for after the Initial Breast Care appointment.
For treatment of Lymphedema, following goals and plan outlined during the Initial Lymph appointment. Treatment includes Assessment, Manual Lymph Drainage, Compression and bandaging, Education on self management
Follow up from Initial Cranial-Fascial Therapy appointment.
These appointments are for patients with breast and chest surgeries. Whether they be future surgeries, healing stages, or mastectomy scars from years ago. In this session there will be an in-depth history taking and assessment, possible treatment, and home care. My focus is to meet you wherever you are in your journey, and with your outcome and end term goals in mind. Together we build a treatment plan that supports your healing in the acute stages and your return to function and goals in the long term.
Cranial-Fascial Therapy is a gentle, subtle and effective way of working with the bodies own rhythms and structure to treat pain and dysfunction. It is calming on the nervous system, making it helpful in treatment of headaches and migraines, TMJ and sinus issues, autoimmune conditions, and stress management. In this session we will go over health history and current complaints/goals, assessment of structures and tissues, treatment and treatment plan. Please wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing.

This is for patients with diagnosed Lymphedema or chronic swelling conditions. In our initial session, we go over your individual case history, including current limitations and future goals, to create a treatment plan appropriate to your specific needs. History, assessment, measurements, education and home-management strategies are emphasized in this appointment, with possible treatment.
This will include treatment as discussed during the Initial Lymphatic Massage appointment.
