Hello! My name is Alyssa Dykema. I graduated from WCCMT in Victoria in 2016.
I began my career in a spa environment and a year later moved my practice to a clinical setting to work alongside many talented practitioners.
I love what I do! The best part of my job as an RMT is forming connections with my patients and addressing each of their individual needs for recovery. I want my space to be a welcoming envirmonment for everyone who can benefit from massage therapy.
I understand the importance of a physical health routine, and am a strong believer that massage therapy plays an integral role in our health care.
I have worked with many different demographics, various injuries and pathologies. My areas of expertise include deep tissue/sports massage, brain and spinal cord injuries, chronic anxiety conditions and MVA recovery.
My continuing education interests have been around breast and chest surgeries, post cancer care, post mastectomy treatments, scar tissue release and home care.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, riding my peloton bike, running, strength training and travelling.
