Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Alyssa moved to Newfoundland at the age of 14.
Alyssa graduated from the comprehensive Massage Therapy course in 2020 and is in good standing with The College of Massage Therapy and The Newfoundland and Labrador Massage Therapy Association.
In addition to being a Registered Massage Therapist, Alyssa is a BScN Student, Recovery Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutritionist within the International Sports Sciences Association and is an active member of the Studio Versō community.
Alyssa utilizes a number of different techniques in her treatments such as: general Swedish and Petrissage massage, active and fascial releases, cupping, gua sha, trigger point release, joint mobilizations and remedial exercises.
Alyssa understands the importance of maintaining a work-life balance and self care. Outside of the clinic, Alyssa enjoys being outdoors, at the gym, or relaxing with her dogs.
