Congratulations on taking the first (and often most difficult) step towards healing and building resiliency: seeking therapy and reaching out! My job is to support you as we work to understand your own unique patterns (thoughts, emotions, behaviours), and be your co-pilot in the process of creating a happier and healthier life. Together, we will process your life challenges, collaborate to gain coping skills and build perspective to help manage your experiences, and ultimately become the 'best version' of yourself. I am passionate about bringing authenticity to sessions, with lightheartedness while encouraging individual creativity.
I approach therapy with the belief that each individual has a unique way of understanding the world; our realities and brain development are the sum of our experiences. I am open-minded and culturally inclusive, pulling from different therapeutic frameworks depending on each client's unique needs/issues, goals for therapy, and techniques that resonate.
My promise is to be present with you, providing a space that is open, empathetic, free of any judgment and safe for you to be who you are in this moment, as we work to build a trusting relationship where you feel seen, heard and understood. Through genuine collaboration, we can explore what therapy approaches might be best for you.
