I have been living and working in Kelowna for 12 years now but I am originally from Manitoba where I grew up on a farm outside the small town of Killarney. I moved to Winnipeg after high school graduation and went to the University of Manitoba. I first completed a Bachelor of Science and then my Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physiotherapy.
I have been working in private practice for over 15 years and my speciality is manual therapy and treating Orthopedic injuries. After graduating from Physiotherapy, I continued my education with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and completed the Orthopedic division levels and my advanced exam in 2017 to obtain my Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy and become an FCAMPT. I am also certified in Gunn IMS (intramuscular stimulation) and I have taken many courses over the years and I enjoy continuing to learn and grow my treatment skills. My physiotherapy treatments are a combination of everything I have learned along the way but are also tailored to your specific needs and requirements.
In my spare time I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast and my biggest passion is hiking and back country camping. You will also find me dragon boating in the summer and skiing in the winter. I believe it's important to stay active and I want to help my clients stay active as well and be able to continue to enjoy the activities they love.
