Amber is a Registered Nurse with more than 14 years of experience in acute medical care. Since earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from the University of Victoria in 2012, she has dedicated her career to supporting patients through complex health challenges while developing a deep appreciation for preventative and proactive healthcare.
Throughout her years working in hospital medicine, Amber witnessed firsthand the important role that hydration, vitamins, minerals, and nutrient support can play in recovery, healing, and overall wellness. These experiences inspired her passion for helping individuals optimize their health before concerns progress to the point of requiring emergency or acute medical intervention.

At Mountain Ridge Wellness, Amber works collaboratively with Dr. Mohamad Ali, ND, serving as an integral part of our IV Therapy Program. She provides professional administration of intravenous therapies, including hydration IVs, vitamin and nutrient infusions, and iron infusions, while ensuring every patient receives safe, compassionate, and individualized care.
Amber has a special interest in fatigue, women's health, recovery, and post-illness support. She understands that many people are juggling busy lives while feeling run down, exhausted, or not quite like themselves. Her goal is to help patients feel supported, regain their energy, and get back to doing the things they love.
Known for her calm and approachable nature, Amber believes that patients know their bodies best. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where individuals feel comfortable asking questions, advocating for their health, and exploring evidence-informed options to support their recovery and well-being.
Outside of the clinic, Amber is a busy wife and mother of two boys. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time in her garden, tackling ambitious Lego creations, and getting lost in a good book.

This 30-minute follow-up appointment is for patients who have a complex medical history who require a more in depth discussion about their IV Therapy needs should the doctor require more time after reviewing bloodwork. During your visit, your naturopathic doctor may: - Review your progress and symptoms - Discuss laboratory or diagnostic test results - Adjust your treatment plan or supplement recommendations - Address new or ongoing health concerns - Provide education and answer your questions If you are booking to review new lab work, please ensure results have been sent to our clinic before your appointment. If you are a new patient or have not been seen by our naturopathic doctor before, please book an Initial Naturopathic Consultation instead.
IV Hydration Therapy delivers fluids directly into the bloodstream to support hydration and overall wellness. This service may be beneficial for individuals experiencing dehydration, fatigue, travel-related recovery, athletic recovery, headaches, or those simply looking for additional hydration support. All IV therapies at Mountain Ridge Wellness are administered by a Registered Nurse in a comfortable clinical setting. Depending on your health history and treatment goals, a consultation with our Naturopathic Doctor may be required before treatment. Treatment times vary depending on the type of IV selected but are typically 30 to 60 minutes. Please note: New patients may require an IV consultation before treatment. Certain medical conditions, medications, or health concerns may make IV therapy unsuitable. IV therapy is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have kidney disease, heart disease, or other significant medical concerns, please contact the clinic prior to booking. Meet with Dr. Mohamad Ali, ND, for a comprehensive assessment of your health concerns, medical history, lifestyle, and wellness goals. Using an evidence-informed and integrative approach, Dr. Ali combines naturopathic and conventional medicine to create personalized treatment plans tailored to your needs. This appointment is appropriate for those seeking support with fatigue, digestive health, hormones, cardiovascular wellness, chronic health concerns, preventative care, or exploring IV therapy options.
Our IV Iron Infusion service is performed in-clinic and is designed for patients who have been prescribed intravenous iron replacement by their healthcare provider - it is done in conjunction with Dr. Ali our naturopathic practitioner. Please note before booking: - Appointment length is approximately 2 hours to allow time for preparation, infusion, and post-infusion monitoring. - Monoferic® iron is NOT supplied by Mountain Ridge Wellness. - A prescription will be provided, and you must pick up the medication from your pharmacy and bring it with you to your appointment. The appointment fee covers the administration and monitoring of your IV infusion only. The cost of the iron medication is paid separately to your pharmacy and is not included in our clinic fee. Please ensure you have eaten a light meal and are well hydrated before your appointment. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your arms. If you are feeling unwell, have a fever, or have any concerns prior to your appointment, please contact the clinic before attending.
