Amen Brar has worked in the mental health field in various capacities for over 15 years. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling and has extensive experience working with both youth and adults.
Amen’s therapeutic approach is uniquely tailored to meet the needs of each individual. She draws from a variety of modalities, meeting people where they are in their journey. Passionate about neuroscience and psychoeducation, Amen emphasizes the powerful connection between the mind and body in her work.
She has supported individuals navigating challenges such as trauma, addictions, anxiety, depression, and relational or situational struggles. Amen integrates cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches, as well as talk therapy. She has also received specialized training in psychodrama and storytelling techniques, which she uses to help clients process and make meaning of their experiences.
Amen believes that everyone has a story—and that each person is the expert of their own. She strives to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their stories and discover their unique strengths. Her work is guided by empathy, curiosity, and respect for each individual’s personal growth journey.
