Certified Athletic Therapists are trained in the assessment, treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries (muscles, bones, ligaments and joints). We treat acute and chronic injuries with people of all ages. Athletic Therapists perform manual therapy, joint mobilizations, traction, active release, prophylactic taping, bracing as well as exercise prescription to facilitate your injury recovery. An Athletic Therapist's goal is to help clients return to their usual activities, whether that means playing competitive sports or walking down the street.
We are proud partners of the Stoney Creek Sabres! As part of our SCGHA partnership, all current players, coaches, staff, and their immediate family members receive 15% off their Initial Assessment. During this comprehensive 60 minute visit, your therapist will assess your injury and start you on a customized treatment plan to get you back on the ice (or back to life!). Please note: You may be asked to verify your SCGHA affiliation at your first appointment.
