Hey, wellness warrior! My name is Andi, your go-to registered acupuncturist and guiding light, on a mission to blend ancient wisdom with a modern touch. My journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) wasn't your typical “Eureka!” moment. Nope- it was more like a slow burn in the cubicle of my 9-5, fuelled by my own quest for answers and healing. I began to feel that Western medicine lacked the individual approach I found in TCM, and quickly realized that my growing interest for medicine should not be overlooked. So, armed with curiosity and a desire to help others find their balance too, I gave up the position that would lead me to my dream corporate job and dove headfirst into the world of TCM. With one of three board exams successfully completed, I am well on my way to becoming a board certified Chinese Medicine Doctor. Here's the deal: your body? It's got this incredible innate wisdom to heal itself, and my job is to help educate and empower you to tap into that magic. Experience acupuncture from the comfort of our lounge chairs. A brief, private 1:1 consultation is included, followed by a relaxing lounge session with acupuncture. An excellent treatment for someone with a busy schedule, you can leave whenever you feel ready to. This session lasts 30-60 mins, and naps are welcomed. It is semi-private with privacy walls and optional eye masks. If your midwife or doctor has referred you please let your acupuncturist know the reason for referral. Some conditions that may be relieved via lounge chairs include pregnancy-induced hypertension, feelings of stress and overwhelm, breech baby or posterior (OP) position, nausea, heartburn, fatigue, iron deficiency, body aches or pain. Birth and labour preparation treatments or cervical ripening may also be offered from the comfort of our lounge. It's also a great way to regulate your cycle. This treatment may also be ideal for mothers experiencing postpartum anxiety or depression, early-stage mastitis, blocked ducts, or low milk supply, incontinence, cesarean recovery, or insomnia.
