Andrea was born and raised in Saskatoon. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Exercise and Sport Studies) with Great Distinction in 2022 and soon after began her journey at the University of Manitoba in the Master of Physical Therapy program. She completed her Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2024 and returned home to Saskatoon soon after.
Andrea has been passionate about movement and exercise throughout her life, playing a variety of sports and spending lots of time active with family and friends. Her active lifestyle led her to seek a career in physical therapy following her time in kinesiology. She enjoys helping people improve their quality of life, and helping them feel and move better. Andrea's goal is to provide individualized and well-rounded care to clients of all ages. She believes that care, compassion, exercise and manual therapy are all integral components to help clients to reach their goals.
During her time in the College of Kinesiology, Andrea spent time with the Huskie Wrestling team as a student trainer. While in the Master of Physical Therapy program, Andrea held two positions with the Manitoba Physiotherapy Association and Sport Physiotherapy Canada- Manitoba respectively. She enjoyed further involvement with community sports and the ability to advocate for the physical therapy profession.
Outside of the clinic, Andrea can be found spending time outdoors and with family and friends. She enjoys staying active through a variety of activities including general strength training, running, golfing, and walking her dogs.
