Angela is a skilled orthopaedic therapist with particular clinical interest and expertise in Pelvic Health, Manual Therapy, Pre and Post-Natal Care and Pain Science, with a background in complex trauma. A graduate of the McMaster Physiotherapy program in 2003 Angela’s diverse clinical background creates a wide lens through which to see her patients. She believes that all aspects of your life will influence how you experience and recover from pain or dysfunction and will work with you to ensure you can play big in all your life’s adventures.
Angela’s treatments may include movement re-education, manual therapy, medical acupuncture/dry needling, or pelvic floor retraining, and always include education and goal setting to ensure what we do matches what you want to achieve. Her practice is inclusive and trauma informed. She loves to laugh and is also comfortable holding space for you whether you are a struggling new parent, someone dealing with embarrassing leaks or someone facing a debilitating injury that’s keeping you from your roles in life.
Outside of her clinical practice Angela loves to teach. She has a Bachelor of Education and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT). She has been a regular guest lecturer for the Physiotherapy programs at McMaster University in burn care and amputee rehab, and The University of Western Ontario in orthopaedics and pelvic health, and is an instructor with the National Orthopaedic Division. Her best day includes time spent outside with her husband and kids, preferably with flourless dark chocolate fudge brownies, a glass of prosecco, and an afternoon nap.

This assessment is a fully functional screening evaluation to review your past medical history, your goals, movement or strength limitation you may have as well as what aspects of you balance and coordination may be affected. This screening will ensure you are ready to get the full benefits of the program as well as provide you individual recommendations.

Baseline testing is a series of physical and cognitive tests that provides a pre-injury overview of healthy brain function. It is completed when an athlete is healthy and does not have any suspected concussion.
