Angela graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2020 from McMaster University. While studying at McMaster, she volunteered at a rehab clinic, which sparked her interest in physiotherapy. She pursued this passion and was accepted and completed her Master of Physical Therapy at Western in 2023.
Through her clinical placements, Angela had the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and conditions, including a variety of orthopaedic conditions and sports injuries. During her second placement, Angela was grateful to work with the ABIM team and learned excellent communication and handling skills.
Angela is excited to share her treatment style of collaborative problem solving and personalized exercise programs, rooted in evidence-based practice. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of rehab and strives to create open communication and trust with her patients.
Furthering her education is a professional goal Angela wishes to achieve, with plans to become certified in acupuncture and dry needling. She is interested in continuing to learn about exercise and manual therapy techniques to provide the best treatment possible.
When not at work, Angela enjoys reading fantasy and romance novels, playing soccer or ultimate frisbee, and going on hikes with her dog.
