Angela has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2005. Over the years of practice she has continued to take training in the areas of TMJ (jaw) dysfunctions and chronic pain management, and has a solid collection of techniques to use to customize your experience.
Angela’s treatments include a blend of intuition and science based best practices to address and alleviate your symptoms. Her somatic approach encourages you to be in your body so that we can mindfully approach the sensitivity within the nervous system.
Angela is also a yoga teacher and movement coach. She has provided corporate yoga to companies like Canfor and intimate group yoga sessions for retreats on Galiano Island.

Massage Therapy is beneficial for a wide range of muscle and joint concerns. Your appointment time includes a brief discussion of your health goals an assessment, charting and personalized massage treatment.
75 mins is often needed when there is more than one area of focus. It can also be a way to get highly focused on treatment areas and then add in a relaxation aspect of scalp, hands or feet.
This 90 minute appointment will include assessment of your current condition, massage treatment specific to your physical needs, and if needed some therapeutic yoga home care instruction to help you strengthen and improve function.
Grinding, and/or clenching, misalignment of the teeth, missing teeth or injury to the face or jaw can interrupt the balance of your bite. Over time it can lead to pain and joint dysfunction. This treatment helps reduce the compressive forces and muscular imbalances that contribute to pain, tooth wear and joint dysfunction.
