Angus is a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturists of British Columbia.
He incorporates adjunct modalities such as gua sha, cupping and moxibustion into his treatments.
Through his thorough and careful assessments, he is able to identify health problems by reviewing your health and medical history, performing orthopedic and neurologic testing and reviewing x-rays. He then tailor design courses of treatments to your lifestyle based on Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Angus has a background education in (TCM) Traditional Chinese medical coding.
For the past few years, he has been working as a holistic Acupuncturist and pursuing education in China Wuyi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a number of hands-on responsibilities to include: diagnosis of symptoms, analyzing and detecting client conditions and needs, and assessing factors that may be contributing to a patient’s condition.
He is knowledgeable in how to apply needle therapy to bring relief for various conditions and he is aware of the various levels of sensation.

Other facial rejuvenation modalities like cupping, gua sha, and lymphatic massage may be included in a cosmetic acupuncture visit, as they are symbiotic to the process of revitalizing skin quality, while also working to release muscle tension due to unconscious habitual patterns and expressions. Many people notice a shift after just one treatment, but for maximum benefit, a series of semi-regular treatments are recommended as a way to teach the skin where to build and repair on its own. Weekly or twice a month for the first 6 sessions is ideal, depending on individual starting points and end goals. Thereafter, a maintenance visit every few months is perfect for keeping things stable, both internally and externally.
