For more than 15 years, I have been working in private practice, helping individuals recover from injury, manage pain, and return to the activities they love. I believe the effective physiotherapy starts with listening. Every person has unique goals, challenges, and experiences, I enjoy partnering with my patients to create individualized treatment plans that fit their lifestyle. My approach combines hands- on therapy, therapeutic exercise, education.movement retraining, IMS, and acupuncture to help people move better, feel stronger, and build confidence in their bodies. I enjoy treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and have a particular interest in working with dancers, artistic athletes, and active individuals. I am also passionate about helping people with TMJ dysfunctions, headaches and neurological conditions improve their function, mobility, and quality of life. Over the years, I have lived in Krakow, Poland, Munster, Germany, Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Nanaimo, BC. Before working as a physiotherapist, I worked as a Research Associate at the University of Manitoba, contributing to biochemistry and medical genetics research. That scientific foundation continues to influence my evidence- based approach to patient care today. Outside the clinic, I enjoy exploring different styles of dance, traveling, and spending time outdoors on long hikes with my dog Kiana.
