Aoife (pronounced EE-fa) was born in Juneau, Alaska and has lived near the ocean or mountains ever since. She met her husband in Whistler in 2018, and they moved to Golden in 2022, excited to find a less hectic town with the same opportunities for mountain biking, skiing, camping and hiking.
She got her start in forestry and ethnobotany, guided by her love of plants and the outdoors, but decided she found greater meaning working directly with people, and went back to school for massage therapy after the idea floated in the back of her mind for years.
Now a second year student at Vicars, Aoife is excited to help people find the same benefits massage has always provided to her. Although still a student, she is committed to providing treatments tailored specifically to the client, and is trained in Swedish massage, myofascial work, and more targeted therapeutic techniques.
Aoife is not able to provide direct billing at this time, but offers a reduced rate for relaxation massage.
