Arlene T. Balbaboco is a Registered acupuncturist at the College of Acupuncture of Alberta (CAA). Prior to coming to Canada, she had seven years of experience as an acupuncturist in the Philippines. Voluntary work like feeding programs, educating people that regards health, life and achieving peacefulness by practicing Yoga Meditation. Also, in ear and detoxification acupuncture under NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) in maintaining abstinence from alcohol, drugs and tobacco.
Moreover, she is a certified Tui Na (Chinese Massage) that includes Qi Gong and acupressure under the practitioner Sarah Pritchard.
As an acupuncturist, her goal is to treat everyone with a holistic approach, not only in physical but also spiritual and mental health. Aside from needling, her treatment may include cupping, guasha, moxibustion, and tuina massage. She specializes to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, fatigue, improving immune function, insomnia, digestive disorders, menstrual and fertility issues, and many more ailments that causes pain.
