Craniosacral therapy is an effective therapy for the whole-body relieving restrictions throughout, by gently working on the tissues directly, as well as by gently manipulating the bones within our spine and skull. The ultimate intention of Craniosacral Therapy is to release these adhesions and improve our alignment, allowing the entire body to self correct. Our CST has a direct impact on our central nervous system, the “motherboard” for the entire body and ALL of its systems. When this system is compromised the performance of nearly every other system in the body can be compromised as well, including even digestion! In turn, this system when balanced will affect every other system within the body, helping to balance them as well. CST naturally eliminates pain and stress, strengthens your resistance to disease, and enhances your health and well-being. CST is a very light touch approach that can create dramatic improvements in your life. It releases tensions deep in your body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole body health and performance. Book your appointment today.
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle manual therapy that optimizes the central nervous system (CNS) by releasing deep-seated tensions within the body’s connective tissues. This modality focuses on the craniosacral system—comprising the skull, sacrum, and the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that protect the brain and spinal cord. By enhancing the rhythmic flow of cerebrospinal fluid and relaxing the dura mater—the protective fascial membrane surrounding the CNS—CST helps shift the body from a "fight-or-flight" stress response into a restorative parasympathetic state. This process directly addresses the fascial system, a body-wide web of tissue that encases nerves and organs; when restricted by trauma or surgery, this fascia can compress neural pathways and trigger systemic pain. Through light-touch manipulation, CST melts these fascial adhesions and provides indirect support to the vagus nerve, allowing the nervous system to self-regulate and recover from conditions such as migraines, concussions, and chronic stress. It is widely used for neural recovery and whole-body integration, though it is contraindicated for those with active intracranial pressure, such as from a recent aneurysm or skull fracture.

30’ craniosacral therapy, 30’ massage
30’ craniosacral therapy, 30’ massage
The body’s craniosacral system comprises the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It extends from the cranium (skull, face and mouth) down to the sacrum (tailbone area). Any restrictions in the membranes of this vital system can directly affect all aspects of central nervous system performance. As CST practitioners, we palpate the craniosacral rhythm, which leads us to restrictions in the body. We then work with the body’s innate healing mechanisms, using the craniosacral rhythm and system as our guide, to correct the restrictions. The beauty of CST is that it works gently to facilitate the free flow and ease of movement of all the body’s fluids, membranes, muscles and fascia. It releases holding patterns in the fascial system and It will release other areas of restriction that come to light within the craniosacral system. It will also balance the body, which in turn will help to heal and balance every system in the body. The 10 step protocol is a once over, A whole body unwinding. The main connection points for the fascial system are released as well as a recipe of releases for the head. If you’ve ever lived….. broken a bone, sprained an ankle, accidents, birth trauma…. Etc….. anything….. then you could benefit from a once over with the 10 step. Treat your body today!

Experience a profound, multi-dimensional healing journey designed to harmonize your body, mind, and spirit. This signature holistic treatment seamlessly integrates the physical release of massage therapy with the restorative flow of Reiki energy healing. Guided intuitive support works in tandem with targeted chakra balancing techniques to clear energetic blockages and restore inner harmony. The experience is further elevated through the customized application of therapeutic-grade essential oils, carefully selected to deepen your relaxation and enhance your overall sense of well-being and clarity. This powerful combination provides a comprehensive escape from daily stress, promoting deep emotional release and a renewed sense of vitality. Key Components of the Treatment Massage Therapy: Gentle or therapeutic techniques are used to release physical muscle tension and improve circulation. It physically "warms" tissues, making the body more receptive to energy work. Reiki Energy Healing: A Japanese technique where a practitioner channels universal life-force energy through light touch or hovering hands. This helps shift stagnant energy and promotes deep relaxation. Angelic Connection: Practitioners may work with angelic frequencies or call upon spirit guides and angels to offer intuitive messages and divine support during the session. Chakra Balancing: Focuses on the seven main energy centers along the spine. Techniques like sound therapy, crystals, or specific hand placements are used to unblock and align these centers, restoring emotional and physical harmony. Essential Oils: Customized aromatherapy blends are applied to pulse points or used in the massage oil. Different oils target specific chakras—for example, Lavender for the heart or Frankincense for the crown.

CST can aid kids with ADHD by easing tension and building up a feeling of safety. Their brains catalog things quickly; when they relax, they get a break from this cataloging. Children who have dyslexia and dysgraphia usually have very quick, sharp minds, but they may have difficulty demonstrating what they know. For kids with dysgraphia, CST can reduce tension in the arms and hands, which makes the process of writing easier. Dyslexic kids often have difficulty processing visual and auditory information; CST can reduce tension patterns around the eyes and ears, so all areas of the brain that process language will function better. Reiki is a Japanese technique that is used to heal physical and mental trauma, and to support mental clarity and spiritual well-being. In Japanese, the word "rei" refers to a higher intelligence that permeates all living and nonliving entities and guides the inherent functioning of the universe. The word "ki" refers to the nonphysical energy that flows through everything that is alive, including plants, animals, and human beings—because of this, ki is also often called "life force energy," and is known as qi or chi from other lineages. The combination of these two words is what defines reiki as "spiritually guided life-force energy." By freeing the central nervous system to perform at its best, craniosacral therapy naturally reduces pain and stress, strengthens your resistance to disease, and enhances your health and well being. And because it's so gentle, CST has been proven effective for all ages, from newborns to elders. Looking for a treatment today? Call the spa for availability

What Does the Lymphatic System Do? The lymphatic system is composed of lymph nodes, fluid (known as lymph), vessels that transport the lymph and organs that consist of lymph tissue such as the spleen, small intestine, and throat. Similar to how veins and capillaries work to move blood through the circulatory system, the lymphatic system is a network of vessels that moves lymph from tissues to the bloodstream. Lymph is made of white blood cells that attack bacteria within the blood and it’s made of intestinal fluid that holds protein and fat. Your lymph nodes are formed in clusters throughout the body in areas like the centre of the chest, groin, the armpit and your neck. This system is a key player in the body’s immune system because it helps to move waste and toxins out of your tissues so that they’re flushed out. If the lymphatic system isn’t functioning properly, you’ll experience a variety of health issues. How Do I Know If I Need Lymphatic Drainage Treatment? If you’re experiencing any of the symptoms below, your body may be encountering toxin overload which means you could benefit from a lymphatic drainage massage. •Chronic sinus infections •Swelling in your fingers •Allergies •Depression •Food sensitivities •Swollen lymph nodes •Excess weight gain •Weakened immune system •Constipation •Bloat •Digestion issues •Brain fog •Chronic fatigue •Dry or itchy skin •TMJ
Your therapist will start by releasing the muscles in the upper back and shoulders. They will also work through your collar bone, chest, and neck to help relax all of the areas surrounding and connected to the temporomandibular joint. There are two main methods to a TMJ massage, the first being extra-orally, or outside of the mouth. When working outside, your therapist will focus on your chewing muscles around the face. The second method is intra-orally, or in the mouth. Prior to beginning intra-oral massage, your practitioner will put on a pair of gloves. Deanna shared that she breaks the intra-oral massage down into sections to allow for breaks for clients to swallow. The sensation can be quite intense because we use these muscles regularly but do not often receive or self-administer massage there. When in the mouth, she begins in between the cheek and teeth, with the muscles at the back of the mouth. Then she moves to the outside of the teeth and massages the medial pterygoid, which is the muscle that moves our jaw from side to side when we are chewing
