AjouterAshley was born and raised in Edmundston, NB. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Moncton and pursued her studies at Dalhousie University in Halifax, where she completed her Masters of Physiotherapy. Ashley is a passionate physiotherapist with a unique perspective, having grown up as a competitive dancer. Her years of dance gave her firsthand experience of the physical demands placed on the body, as well as the importance of injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Ashley always had special interests in the private sector and gained experience working alongside a team of professionals as a student. After completing her Masters of Physiotherapy, she started her career in private practice helping multiple patients achieving their goals and return to activities they love.
She believes that understanding each person’s unique needs and goals is fundamental to providing effective care. By creating individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific requirements of each patient, Ashley strives to empower individuals to overcome physical challenges and achieve their personal health goals.
With a commitment to personalized care, Ashley fosters an environment of trust and support, where patients feel encouraged to reach their best self.
Outside of her career, she deeply values quality time with her friends, family and her two cats. Ashley also enjoys unwinding in cozy coffee shops, spending time in nature and travelling with her fiancée.

Select this option if you are (1) NEW to our clinic or (2) your injury has returned but you have not been treated for this injury in our clinic for over 6months, or (3) you have been assessed for this injury by a Rehab1 Physiotherapist but wish to switch to another Physiotherapist. The Physiotherapy Assessment involves a 1-hour one-on-one history and biomechanical evaluation with a Physiotherapist on our Rehab1 Team. This allows us the time to a develop a clear picture of your current condition and help us provide you with the proper physiotherapy treatment plan.
Select this ONLY after you have been assessed by one of our Rehab1 Physiotherapists for the current injury AND will be returning for treatment with that specific Physiotherapist. If you are a previous patient but have not been in our clinic IN OVER 6 MONTHS, a "Physiotherapy Initial Assessment" must be selected.
ONLY select this option if you have already been assessed by a Rehab1 Physiotherapist for the current injury. * This session includes Shockwave therapy in addition to exercises prescription, manual therapy, and other modalities as deemed appropriate by your Physiotherapist.
Book this appointment if you have been referred or recommended for orthopaedic bracing.

The Physiotherapy Assessment involves a 1-hour one-on-one history and evaluation with our Physiotherapists, Stephanie Melanson and Kate Tweedie, who has been trained in the area of urinary incontinence. This examination is MANDATORY for all NEW PATIENTS seeking this service here at REHAB1. This allows us the time to a develop a clear picture of your current condition and help us provide you with the proper physiotherapy treatment plan. Initial Assessment - Compression Stockings Fitting

We are now offering physiotherapy treatment sessions that will be conducted virtually for our clients that are unable to make it into the clinic for any particular reason. Please note that our virtual sessions are done with the help of our Jane online software - you will not be required to download anything. We have made this quite easy for you and hope you enjoy your treatment session!

Our TPI Golf Certified Physiotherapists will assess the biomechanics of your golf swing and identify what physical aspects may be affecting your game. Faulty and limited movement patterns can greatly affect your golf swing, decrease your distance, and also cause pain. They will create an exercise & stretching program customized to you. Then your information will be shared with our Golf Professional, Gerard Aliling, who will conduct a Full swing assessment and develop a swing program to correct the issues and optimize your golf swing.

This appointment should be booked if you are having issues related to balance, dizziness, or other vestibular related conditions.
