Atarah Huang

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and DBT-informed

interventions. Drawing from her background in art therapy and somatic practice, she

incorporates body awareness and experiential techniques when helpful, offering

additional pathways for emotional processing and self-understanding.

Atarah integrates compassion-focused, strengths-based, and mindfulness approaches

to support emotional regulation, resilience, and self-compassion. She brings a culturally

responsive and holistic lens to her work, honoring each client’s lived experience and

creating a safe, respectful space for growth and healing. She offers therapy in English,

Cantonese, and Mandarin, supporting clients who feel most comfortable expressing

themselves in their preferred language.

Atarah currently offers online therapy and welcomes consultation regarding in-person

availability.
