Austin completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MScPT) at the University of Alberta
after earning his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from the University
of Victoria.
Having competed in international rugby and provincial-level soccer, Austin understands firsthand
the physical and mental demands that come with training, competition, injury, and recovery. As
both a lifelong athlete and physiotherapy patient himself, he enjoys helping athletes and active
individuals safely return to the activities they love with confidence.
Austin sees kids 10+, teenagers and adults. He loves working with all athletes, specifically rugby and soccer players. He also loves seeing arm and hand concerns!
Care Philosophy:
Austin takes a practical, patient-centered approach to treatment that combines education,
hands-on therapy, and exercise-based rehabilitation tailored to each individual’s goals. He believes
patients should feel listened to, understand their injury, and feel confident throughout the recovery
process.
Did you know:
Outside of the clinic, Austin continues to stay heavily involved in sport and recreation through
rugby, soccer, hiking, camping, and outdoor games. He also enjoys board games and finding any
excuse for friendly competition.
