Aya is a Speech-Language Pathologist who supports preschool- and school-aged children across clinical and educational settings. She is passionate about helping children develop the communication skills they need to participate confidently at home, school, and in their communities.
Her clinical work includes assessing and treating speech sound disorders, language disorders, and complex communication needs through individualized and group intervention. Aya also provides AAC assessments, communication device programming, and support to help children, families, and educators successfully integrate communication systems into daily routines.
Aya values collaborative, family-centered care and works closely with caregivers, educators, and support teams to develop practical, evidence-based strategies that support meaningful communication. She enjoys coaching families and educators to help children build skills across the environments that matter most.
Based in Halifax, Aya provides speech-language therapy services for children and families in the clinic, community, and through collaborative consultation with caregivers and other professionals.
