Barbara is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCMP) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. Raised with Traditional Chinese Medicine as an integral part of health, she considers it an honour and a privilege to be able to share it with others. She is dedicated to assisting clients with their natural ability to heal.
Barbara's focus is on women's health. She assists with pain, sleep issues, digestive concerns, and menopause transformation, in addition to providing support for optimizing fertility, reducing stress and preventing illness.
Alongside acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, she is trained in classical modalities such as Ba Guan (cupping), Gua Sha (skin scraping), Tuina (push grasp therapy), cosmetic acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, and traditional Chinese nutritional therapy. These may be included when appropriate, as part of your holistic care and treatment.
When not in clinic, you will find Barbara reading the Traditional Chinese Medicine classics, spending time with her family, enjoying the cultural richness of the city, and breathing deeply to cultivate Qi.
