This therapeutic style is an integrative, nervous system-focused approach to manual therapy. It moves beyond localized pain relief to address how stress and trauma are held in the body. The practice emphasizes co-regulation, where the therapist uses their own calm presence and targeted touch to help guide the client's nervous system toward a state of safety. The work combines hands-on "tissue issue" strategies with client education, with the core goal of teaching self-regulation. The therapist acts as a guide, helping clients decode physical symptoms, build a personalized toolkit for managing their stress and pain responses, and ultimately reclaim their innate capacity for healing and resilience.

Follow Up - Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage30 minFollow-up

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle technique that has been proven to assist with lymph flow and drainage of various tissues and lymph pathways in the body. The main goal is to encourage better lymph flow and clearance in order to prevent stagnation and support immune response via the lymphatic system. No oil is used in this type of massage and the pressure is very light (Note: this is different from Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage, which is a different style of treatment). The skin is alternatingly stretched and released, creating a pump-like effect that encourages lymph flow and clearance. The rhythmic nature of movements also encourages relaxation through a calming effect on the nervous system and can have a generally pain-reducing effect. MLD is often used for various types of swelling including lymphedema, a condition of lymphatic dysfunction for which CDT (combined decongestive therapy) - a combination of MLD and bandaging - is the golden standard. MLD is often used for many types of post-surgical swelling (top surgery, mastectomies, plastic surgeries, hip and knee replacements, and more) as well as swelling from acute injuries such as sprains and strains. It can be helpful for a variety of conditions including anxiety, bloating, acne, long COVID, osteoarthritis, whiplash, concussion syndromes, stress migraines, contusions/bruising and more. A pre-screening is required prior to your first MLD session to assess for any contraindications to this treatment.

Massage w/ cupping30 min

A great length for a tune-up, strictly assessment and home care, one specific complaint, when resources are tight or when you can only get away for a moment. Cupping involves the creation of a vacuum over areas of tension using sterilized silicone, plastic, or glass cups, causing suction of the skin, fascia and muscles into the cup. It is used to help soften long-standing, stubborn muscle tension, and to improve circulation in restricted areas. Many people feel painful tight areas and scar tissue and other adhesions respond well to cupping treatment, and it can also be used to treat immune and respiratory issues.
