Hi, I’m Ben! I grew up in Edmonton playing a wide variety of sports from a young age, particularly soccer, and was first introduced to physiotherapy early on for my own injuries. I quickly became fascinated with the rehabilitation process and the role physiotherapists have in guiding individuals through their recovery.
After graduating with my Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2021 from the University of Alberta, I worked for a few years within orthopaedic and geriatric settings before returning to school to complete my Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.
During my training, I gained valuable experience across a wide variety of clinical settings including private MSK, outpatient orthopaedics, acute care, stroke rehabilitation, emergency assessment units, and community physiotherapy. These experiences have allowed me to develop a well-rounded, individualized, evidence-based approach to assessing and treating injuries.
As a physiotherapist, I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to develop meaningful goals and help them return to the activities they enjoy. My approach emphasizes education, patient-centred care, and strategies that promote long-term self-management.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy running, golfing, weightlifting, ands spending time with my dog. On the weekends, I’m also known to wake up before sunrise to catch football (soccer) matches from across the pond.
