Beriah Chandoo is a registered Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. Throughout her career, Beriah has held various roles, including clinical positions in Canada and London, England. She has held non-clinical roles as a lecturer role in paediatric occupational therapy at Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, England and has been a Policy Officer with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, the UK registering body.
Her paediatric expertise encompasses early intervention, sensory integration, and supporting children with developmental delays, as well as those facing challenges with strength, coordination, and motor skills.

This in-depth assessment is designed to support children facing challenges in school settings, including sensory processing, motor skills, attention, self-regulation, and functional participation. Our occupational therapist conducts a one-on-one in-clinic assessment, followed by a detailed consultation with parents/caregivers to review findings. A school health teleconference is included to collaborate with teachers and school staff, ensuring a cohesive support plan. A comprehensive report with tailored strategies and recommendations is provided to facilitate success in the classroom and beyond.

What is a Parent OT Consultation? A Parent Occupational Therapy (OT) Consultation is a dedicated one-on-one session designed to review your child’s progress, explore current needs, and collaboratively plan next steps in their therapy journey. This 60-minute appointment typically includes: A brief check-in with your child during the first 20–30 minutes (if appropriate) A detailed discussion with you, the parent or caregiver, to review assessment findings, discuss what’s working well, and address any ongoing concerns Development of practical strategies and goals tailored to your child’s sensory, motor, or emotional regulation needs at home, school, or in the community These sessions are an opportunity to ask questions, gain clarity, and feel supported in your role.
