B.Kin., B.A. (Psych), Registered Kinesiologist (BCAK)
Bess has both a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. She is a registered member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK), and her combined academic background allows her to approach rehabilitation with a well-rounded understanding of both physical and mental wellness.
Originally from the Philippines, Bess brings a diverse and inclusive perspective to her practice. Her professional journey includes valuable experience volunteering and working in various clinical and community settings, including Vancouver General Hospital, GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre, Monarch House, and seniors’ care homes. She has worked with a wide range of clients—from children to seniors—and currently supports individuals of all ages in improving their physical health and quality of life.
With a strong foundation in both physical and psychological wellness, Bess is passionate about helping her clients return to the activities they love. She takes pride in building genuine relationships with her clients, fostering trust, and creating customized programs that support long-term success.
Her love for physical activity began early, as she played on the varsity badminton team throughout middle and high school. She also helped coach youth ages 6 to 13. Outside of work, Bess stays active by playing badminton, she is currently learning tennis and pickleball, and has recently picked up running.
