A 45 minute follow-up is ideal for those looking for a quick acupuncture tune up with no other TCM modalities.
This 60 minute appointment is recommended as the standard follow-up length of treatment as it allows for acupuncture in combination with other TCM services (such as cupping, gua sha, tui na, moxa, or ear seeds).
This longer follow-up appointment is recommended for those who require a longer needle retention and require other TCM services (such as cupping, gua sha, tui na, moxa, ear seeds, or electromagnetic therapy).
An initial acupuncture appointment involves a thorough health history, assessment, and acupuncture treatment with possible Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nutrition and lifestyle advice. This appointment may also include other TCM therapies such as cupping, gua sha, tui na, moxibustion, electromagnetic therapy, or ear seeds. This appointment is necessary for any first time patients prior to scheduling a follow-up acupuncture appointment. ***Please note, it is HIGHLY recommended that you book a 1 hour follow-up appointment, 1 to 2 weeks after your initial appointment, in order to begin a successful treatment plan.
