Brent Wakefield is a registered kinesiologist with a Ph.D. in Anatomy and Cell Biology. He has spent his career studying how the body moves, how pain develops, and how exercise can improve joint health and quality of life. His research has been published in leading journals, and he has taught anatomy, strength and conditioning, and rehabilitation science at Western University, Fanshawe College, and Sheridan College.
In the clinic, Brent works with people living with conditions like osteoarthritis, helping them reduce pain, improve movement, and get back to the activities they enjoy. His own journey with chronic back pain has given him a deep understanding of what patients go through, and he uses that experience to create practical, individualized exercise programs that truly make a difference.
Brent is also the founder of Exercise Science, a company dedicated to evidence-based training and rehabilitation. His passion is helping people feel stronger, move better, and build confidence in their bodies—both now and for the long term.
