Brittany is a registered psychologist, graduating in 2015 with a Master’s Degree from Vancouver, B.C. She is passionate about mental health, well-being, and the field of psychology as a whole.
Brittany is trained primarily in cognitive & behavioral therapies. She combines personal and professional experiences to create a warm & safe space where individuals can explore themselves and their current situations. She prides herself on being authentic and relatable throughout the therapy process, and joins with individuals to determine goals, and develop skills which will be both helpful and sustainable.
Brittany takes a holistic approach to therapy, and has been successful in combining both acceptance and change strategies. Through her work, she strives to increase awareness of the connection between an individual’s mind, body, emotion, and behavior. Brittany does not believe that psychological services are a “one-size-fits-all” experience - and will pull from various therapies to best suit a client’s needs. Brittany believes in generating skills and providing clients with tools that they can continue to use outside of the therapy room.
Brittany is warm, empathetic, and passionate about helping people to flourish and to live their most meaningful and fulfilling lives. She values new and exciting experiences/adventures, and also quiet time at home. You can often find her by the water, camping, or somewhere in the mountains. In her quiet time, Brittany enjoys her family, dog, and hobbies such as yoga, nutrition/cooking, reading, crafts and learning more about psychology and evidence-based treatment.
