“Through conversation, play-based activities, creative expression, or other age-appropriate therapeutic approaches, a child therapist will work with your child to explore their thoughts, feelings, experiences, and challenges. Sessions are tailored to your child's unique needs, strengths, and goals, helping them develop emotional awareness, coping skills, problem-solving abilities, and greater confidence.”Parent/Caregiver Session
“This initial appointment takes place between the parent(s)/caregiver(s) and the therapist before your child's first therapy session. During this meeting, the therapist will gather information about your child, discuss any current concerns and goals for therapy, and review important policies related to consent and confidentiality. Parents and caregivers will also have an opportunity to learn how they can support their child's therapeutic goals at home and contribute to the therapy process. This session helps the therapist develop an informed understanding of your child's needs and lays the foundation for effective care.”2 optionsTeen Therapy
