Brooke Smallman, completed her Master of Social Work degree at St. Thomas University in 2023 and has since worked as a Clinical Social Worker in both community mental health and private practice settings.
Over the past several years, Brooke has developed extensive experience supporting military members, Veterans, and individuals who have experienced trauma. Brooke has received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), two evidence-based treatments commonly used in the treatment of trauma and PTSD. In addition to trauma-focused therapies, she integrates approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's unique needs, goals, and circumstances.
She is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. Brooke recognizes that seeking support can be a significant step and is dedicated to helping clients navigate challenges while working toward improved well-being and personal growth.
