Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether someone is navigating relationship concerns, career pressures, major life transitions, or experiences such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, neurodivergence, or challenges with self-worth. Brooklyn offers a supportive and compassionate space where clients do not have to face these experiences alone and can work toward greater balance, healing, and resilience.
Brooklyn is a compassionate therapist who values deep, meaningful connection and believes everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. Informed by both personal and professional experiences, she understands how isolating life’s challenges can feel and is deeply committed to walking alongside clients as they navigate difficulties, reconnect with their strengths, and foster personal growth.
Brooklyn brings over eight years of experience supporting neurodivergent individuals in the non-profit sector. This work has shaped her therapeutic approach and reinforced the importance of empathy, understanding, and individualized care. She is also passionate about destigmatizing mental health and strives to create a non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their experiences.
Brooklyn’s professional journey includes training in Recreation Therapy at Mohawk College, a degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Brock University, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Her work is grounded in a person-centred, integrative approach that draws from ACT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, trauma-informed, attachment-focused, emotion-focused, and solution-focused therapies. She works with individuals ranging from teens to seniors.
Outside of her clinical work, Brooklyn enjoys photography, traveling, reading, playing board games, and spending time with family and friends—interests that continue to ground her belief in the power of connection.
