Bryant Lam BMSc, MScPT, FCAMPT
Bryant grew up in North Vancouver, where he developed a love for being active from a young age.
Whether skiing, exploring the forest in his backyard, or playing road hockey with friends, he was always on the move. During high school, he became more involved in organized sports, particularly football, and eventually went on to play for the Western Mustangs Football team.
However, as with many contact sports, injuries were inevitable, and it was through his own rehabilitation experience that he discovered his passion for physiotherapy. Working with skilled physiotherapists who helped him recover and return to the field solidified his decision to pursue a career in this field.
Bryant completed his Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto and has since worked in multidisciplinary clinics across Toronto for the past eight years, treating a wide variety of injuries and demographics.
His clinical experience includes working with athletes, individuals with chronic pain, and patients recovering from surgery. He has a special interest in sports injuries and orthopaedics, with a focus on hands-on therapy and individualized exercise plans. Bryant’s approach emphasizes building strong relationships with his patients to help them achieve their personal goals, while also providing education and tools to prevent future injury.
Bryant has also completed extensive post-graduate education in manual therapy, and became a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) in 2021. He continues to advance his knowledge to provide the best possible care to his patients.
Outside of his professional work, Bryant is a fitness enthusiast who spends his free time at the gym, playing squash, or on the golf course. He also enjoys skiing and running, and is always looking for new ways to stay active.
